Abstract

aRtsOSS is a kernel-level aRts driver. It gives all Linux machines the capability of multiple OSS audio applications to play through the aRts soundsystem without an LD_PRELOAD emulation layer. This kernel module behaves like a normal OSS driver to all applications.

0.5.0 is a complete rewrite with proper buffering, low latency, and non-blocking support. Its application support is much improved now too. See the readme therein.
